やいり – 学園×∀ssassinatioИ [LYRICS]

Wasn’t really planning to translate this but all the nico comments were like, “I totally understand that feeling [of whatever is happening in the song]” so I guess I was just curious what that was.

But I ended up having some real trouble translating this song… it’s still a little vague, I think, but the general idea seems to be “there’s a love triangle between a boy, a girl, and one of those ‘Queen Bee’ type girls you see in school. She spreads rumors to try and snare the guy.” After the solo there’s a perspective shift, to who I can only assume is the guy.

A kind commenter gave a slightly more informed interpretation. It seems that mine was mostly correct, but I was mistaken on several pronouns. The story makes quite a bit more sense now.

何様 = “なにさま” is an adverb “what kind; how; indeed; truly; extremely; to be sure” but I think in this case, it’s a pun on the first prechorus’s use of 女王様…
