Because this is easier to translate than the stack of song lyrics I still want to translate. I’m actually working kind of hard on something but I don’t have any finished tabs to post, anyway. Just half-finished ones, haha.
UtsuP (鬱P) was one of the first hardcore producers I started listening to (along with yuyoyuppe) and he’s only gotten better over the years. Naturally, I’m curious about the producers behind a lot of the music I listen to, but I just decided to translate this profile on a whim. As awesome as his music is, I just don’t have a desire to really tab out his music like I do for a lot of yuyoyuppe’s. How strange…
Anyway, here is a translation for the “About” page for his circle’s website. His circle name?
MY SONG IS SHIT!
NOTES: ベタな – According to this page, ベタ is slang for “serious,” as in “earnest.” I claim this based on the examples, because honestly I had trouble trying to understand that page.
など – for example, things like, such as, etc., and so on.

MY SONG IS SHIT
鬱P(Utsu-P)
MY SONG IS SHIT is
a hardcore-punk circle that utilizes the VOCALOID software.
The lone official member is UtsuP.
Perhaps the number of members will increase, or perhaps this circle will just vanish.
UtsuP
Born December 1st, 1990; lives in Nagoya
172cm tall, weighs 92kg
The winter I was 13 a friend said something like, “Because I play guitar, you should play bass” during a serious talk, so I started as a bassist.
At age 15, a 4-piece hardcore band focused on short songs was formed. After not playing any gigs, getting mad at the PA during rehearsals, etc., we never took the Nagoya hardcore scene by storm and soon ceased our activities.
Afterwards, during the summer I was 17, and with the resolution “Even I’m able to make songs that are a little more serious, right?”, I got involved in the Vocaloid scene, and here we are.
[SERIOUS PROFILE]
I began these activities sometime in June, 2008.
Using VOCALOID is troublesome, especially with the frequent use of things like shouts and growls, which took lots of training, and I tuned my guitar way down to reach a loud rock sound, but even so I still conflict those sounds with catchy melodies.
[Vigorous Activity] is what I’d call an impulse to include erotic or indecent topics despite the conflict it causes, but that’s the kind of Vigorous Activity I conduct.
