A relatively quick one, but even though the lyrics are simple, they’re pretty good IMO. I’m not really into br00tz metalcore anymore, a lot of it is what I would call “boring;” Eve is one of the few exceptions among Vocaloid metal producers I am still keeping track of.
… I never did get around to doing that last Break Your Bullshit translation, huh. Well, I’d have to copy lyrics from the book, and I hate that, so that’s probably why. I’ll get around to it.
Here are Eve’s notes from Nico:
「目が覚めて、いつものように朝が訪れる。ただそれだけで大きな価値があるんだよ。」
“When you open your eyes, it’ll be another everyday morning. But there’s great value even in that.”

向こうでも楽しく歌ってるといいな
Among my musician friends, my junior left this world, and now some time has passed.
But I wrote this song at that time.
I hope other people will enjoy singing this.
Note that whether Eve means “this world” as in “life” or just “musical community…” it’s vague. Perhaps there’s another meaning I haven’t thought of?
Anyway, this song is on Eve’s first EP “Miku Scream,” so give that a spin. I enjoyed it when I listened to it months ago. I actually forgot this song was on there, and thought this was a new song… haha.
