I’m just transcribing what I can understand… I’ll update the lyrics as the scans magically appear.
Lyrics directly from the booklet! Yeah! … I kind of liked some of the lines I heard on my original transcription better, but that’s life.
I remember on Twitter, Shuuhei asked who “Ryo” was, and he got a reply from someone, but the account has been suspended… he’s a member of a band? Maybe a band yuyoyuppe and APG met while playing as MEDY??? Speculation… this whole post is made of it.

Spoilers: the whole song (with few exceptions) can be played G A B D.
WOAH AN ACTUAL TAB Yeah I’m not sorry because I’m pretty sure no one visits this site (I don’t track visitors) but I do feel bad for tossing this blog to the wayside while I do other musical things. Pretending to be a musician is hard work but I am hoping to have more things posted to this blog soon.
So yeah, THE FORGOTTEN EP. Honestly I just like Shinigiwa because their releases are good, and I can expect a new one 3 times a year. Pretty soon, there will be enough tabs here to start a Shinigiwa cover band, does anyone want to start one with me???
Song is tabbed in Drop D and I can’t vouch for the accuracy of some of the guitar parts, because it feels like Drop D was unnecessary… bass is tabbed in CEADG but just change the tuning if you need to. Or use your head, idc. An actual important note, for those who care about little details like “vocal harmonies:” Seitarou either sings off 3rds on purpose, or they were written that way, but what I’ve tabbed as “vocal harmonies” are not accurate to what he sang in his demo.
I truly believe that, when it comes to transcribing Engrish, the more people working the better, so even though I’m 100% sure I’m just a nuisance to Kafka-fuura, we ended up working together on the lyrics for this song. I will update this post when his goes up…Here is his post! I listened to both versions back and forth, while Kafka used OP2C’s fan-duet video (above), and then we compared notes. It was fun!
Because this is easier to translate than the stack of song lyrics I still want to translate. I’m actually working kind of hard on something but I don’t have any finished tabs to post, anyway. Just half-finished ones, haha.
UtsuP (鬱P) was one of the first hardcore producers I started listening to (along with yuyoyuppe) and he’s only gotten better over the years. Naturally, I’m curious about the producers behind a lot of the music I listen to, but I just decided to translate this profile on a whim. As awesome as his music is, I just don’t have a desire to really tab out his music like I do for a lot of yuyoyuppe’s. How strange…
Anyway, here is a translation for the “About” page for his circle’s website. His circle name?
Wow, these lyrics are kind of great. And the vocal delivery just makes the song seem… ugh… “epic.” And the original song is Desire Drive, so there’s that, too.
Song: Betrayal can’t invent anything

I like how I only really had to look up the kanji for the first line; the rest I either recognized or the vocals were sung clearly enough that I could type them out by ear… haha. You have to be really careful when transcribing lyrics from the book; Japanese spaces are variable (?) so line breaks are easy to miss. Obviously since I suck, I translate by those short phrases and then decide whether to put certain phrases together… so really you should probably read someone else’s translation.
… maybe I’ll tab Endless cycle of rebirth but not this song, just because???
Song: We cannot get out of here forever
Artist: ゆよゆっぺ ft. カドチ
———> Yuyoyuppe ft. Kadochi

I will never tab this song. Pianos are something I have trouble with, and wouldn’t you know it, those are Muryoku’s calling card… as it stands, this song doesn’t really need translating, because there are only three lines and it’s been done already, but…
Song: Collapsing Floor

I’m still putting off that interview but here’s something I guess. I’m not very good at translating. Yairi seems to be using a lot of slang? Is the usage of のさ what we might consider “slang?” The self-study continues.
NOTES: I’ve copied the lyrics from the booklet… but I changed a line near the end (でしょう? ー> な?) because I think that’s what is actually sung… also, I added those little extras, like そうして and the last 触れてよ.
周平さんかっこいい!
Song: Keep away from me
Artist: やいり ft. 周平

An older tab just to say I uploaded something. In actuality I’m putting off translating the rest of that interview… This song is in Drop C.
This is my last stockpiled tab? I think? Either way, congratulations to myself for 25 tabs uploaded. I have a goal for tabs uploaded by the end of a full year but we’ll see.
Here is an interview yuyoyuppe did with ototoy coinciding with the release of his debut on a major label. Can’t really vouch for how accurate this translation is, though.
Also, because it’s quite a long interview for a beginner like me, I’ve split it into three parts.
EDIT: Tab updated 11/29/2014 – breakdown melody/harmony corrected, tab effects adjusted, blog post edited to reflect my current opinions
This. Is the epitome of controlled chaos. I’m not talking about chaotic music that is technically skilled, no. This song switches perfectly from standard-fare metalcore to balls-to-the-wall metalcore with such ease and skill. There is no way to improve this song; it is a perfect arrangement. The second half of the song is amazing, from the breakdown into harmonizing guitars, to the bridge with the chilling title drop, to the halftime breakdown to the crescendo as it all comes down with Teto screaming in the finale… I really only started paying attention to this song after this video was posted on NND a month ago, and I’m glad I did. Tears Will Become Melodies Tonight isn’t my favorite Foreground Eclipse album overall, but the best songs are way better than anything off of Wishes Hidden In the Foreground Noises. I could write a whole series of blog posts highlighting the arrangement choices made by the band… maybe some other time.
So I tabbed it out a few days ago; it’s a little more complex than it seems just from listening (watch those 1 measure 3/4 time signature changes!) but it’s nothing someone who hasn’t played a little guitar shouldn’t be able to play. Even I can play it (sloppily) so there’s that! I was very surprised to discover the guitar is only tuned to Drop D… make sure you read the lyrics for this one, too.
